Trinidad and Tobago Reports Third Death from COVID-19

At about 4pm Saturday the Ministry of Health in Trinidad and Tobago reported it’s third death, 76 confirmed cases and one recovery of the coronavirus (covid19).

500 samples have been tested so far. The details of the latest confirmed cases were not disclosed. On Friday, March 27, 2020 Trinidad and Tobago recorded 66 cases which means a total of ten new persons tested positive within the last 24 hours.

It is reported that 49 of the positive cases were a group of nationals that returned from a cruise, 3 of which returned separately.

The government of Trinidad and Tobago, again, urged the public to practice proper hand hygiene, it’s also asking the public to avoid going in public if it’s not necessary.

The government also stated that no more than ten persons should be gathered in the same place at any one time. Stay tuned to Yardhype for more details.
