Tyquendo Tracey Calls Out Head Coach Of Jamaica Track Team Maurice Wilson For Alleged ‘Favouritism’, “I Am Feeling Extremely Cheated” – Watch Video
Jamaican athlete Tyquendo Tracey is making his voice heard as he calls out the head coach of the Jamaica track team, Maurice Wilson, for his alleged unfair treatment towards him after he was dropped from the Men’s 4x100m relay team in Budapest, Hungary.
Tyquendo Tracey, via a recorded video, says that what makes the decision harder to take is that he was replaced by an athlete coached by Maurice Wilson, who did not qualify for the team on merit. According to the sprinter, he strongly feels Maurice Wilson has a personal vendetta against him.
“From my point of view, I am feeling extremely cheated, and I feel like Mr Wilson has a personal vendetta against me, for whatever reason I don’t know, because this is not the first time I have been in a situation where I am been replaced by one of his athletes,” Tyquendo Tracey revealed.
The sprinter also revealed that following the decision by the head coach, he reached out to another authority figure in charge of the track team. It was then that things went left field, as he was threatened with losing his accreditation and kicked out of the camp in Hungary, allegedly instigated by coach Wilson.
