Just recently Derek Chauvin, the officer that was involved in the death of Floyd was found guilty of unintentional second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

In loving memory of the deceased, a mural was also painted at the spot which he died, seeing many people turning out to pay their respects, with even gun salutes going off this morning.

So far President Biden has pushed for a bill that will require the police to cut out chokeholds however, he will need to wait for others to vote on the matter, and the process to be fully completed before it can be passed as a law.
