Usain Bolt is well known for his 8-time gold medal haul at the Olympics alongside his world record triumphs and other athletics achievements however it is clear that in the past years the now Businessman and Producer, has stepped up his game where charity is concerned.
In the past, Usain Bolt through his Usain Bolt Foundation has helped many people, and even before that when he was on top of his sport, he was donating as he contributed over 1.3 million dollars worth of equipment and supplies to his former high school William Knibb.
Now the living legend has ensured that his entire community of Sherwood Content in Trelawny is happy and he did so by giving away gift bags, toys, and even credit through the foundation’s sponsor Digicel.
With him on the giveaway trod were members from his A-Team camp such as Ricardo “Bibi” Gardner and Nugent “NJ” Walker who was also active in giving out the gift bags and goodies to the elders and children in the community.
Helping him out as well, mother Jennifer Bolt, who has been very supportive of her son since day one, even travelling to Beijing China in the past to see him run.
In the caption of the video post made by Usain Bolt, he wrote “Always a joy to go back to my community of Sherwood and give back”, further going on to thank Digicel his sponsor.
It is a good look however, it will be even better to see more celebrities like Usain giving back to their communities and even the wider Jamaica especially in this pandemic.
