Usain Bolt set for FOOTBALL trial with Borussia Dortmund in march

World’s fastest man Usain Bolt secures trial with German football club Borussia Dortmund. Bolt hopes his dream of becoming a professional footballer can still come true when he undergoes a trial at German top-flight club Borussia Dortmund.

The sprint legend admitted he would prefer to play for his favorite team Manchester United
Bolt said: “If it turns out that I’m and ready or I need a bit of training, I’ll do it. It makes me worried. I usually don’t get worried but this is absolutely different, this is football I’m talking about now. It may take a little bit longer for me to master it, but once I play a few times, I’ll get acquainted to it.”
Sportswear Company Puma arranged the trial as it sponsors both Bolt and Dortmund.
“One of my biggest dreams is to sign for Manchester United. If Dortmund say I’m good enough, I’ll crack on and train hard,” said Bolt.
“I’ve spoken to (former Manchester United manager) Alex Ferguson and I told him he needs to put in a good word. He told me if I get fit and ready, he will see what he can do.”
