A student of the University of the West Indies Mona Campus (UWI Mona) shares her gratitude to dancehall artiste Shenseea for funding her studies at the illustrious institution.

The 25-year-old female, currently a law student studying to become a paralegal, posted a lengthy thank you message to her Instagram account thanking Shenseea and Romeich for their gratuitous contribution to her education. The post was reshared by ZJ Sparks to her sparkybabyofficial Instagram page with the caption, “love to see it @shenseea! @moni_divine that is the attitude! @romeichentertainment always building a village!”

Monifa Millions (name displayed on Instagram), posted under the account moni_divine about how gracious she was for the opportunity to receive a full-ride scholarship. She said, “I would just like to take the time out to express my gratitude to the one and Only @shenseea for giving me the Push of a Lifetime.”

Millions explained that she started the journey of going to university in 2016 and how hard it has been to finish her degree. She mentioned that not only was she grateful but also a proud Shenseea supporter. She stated that at some point she was also like the Run Run entertainer because “I myself had my dreams feel like they were being crushed by circumstances beyond my control…”

However, she voiced that she put her trust in God and worked so hard to pay her debts at UWI even though that was only “PART of the mountain.” During the time when she needed a support system, Shenseea held out a helping hand and she was able to gain some well-needed reprieve. Detailing the turning point, Millions said that she was contacted by Romeich and told that she was a lucky recipient of the yengday2022 Full University Tuition Funding.

Finalizing her speech, the lawyer-to-be stated, “my promise is to Pay it forward, to ripple the effect of support to create more brighter days to those facing dark clouds.”
