Vershon Drops ‘Pillow Talk’ Aimed at Popcaan – Listen

Dancehall artiste Vershon released his new song, Pillow Talk, calling out a fake and selfish friend. Vershon dropped the official audio of the song, produced by Dinesty King and Real Queffa, on Monday, after a recent back-and-forth online with Ce’cle.
At the beginning of the song, Vershon states that money could never influence him to disrespect his friend and mentions a “heartless” person who disrespected their friend.
“A nuh everyone seh family, yuh fi believe them. When dem seh dem rate yuh, wait a minute den yuh pree dem. Dem will tek yuh life den play di victim dem a eden,” he deejays.
Notably, Popcaan is known for saying “family,” and he has a song titled Family. Also, Popcaan was accused of being a freak by his alleged ex-girlfriend, Kyhighlah, and the deejay did not respond.
In the song, Vershon notes, “Something nuh right bout dem, dem need some check-up, gyal a seh dem a freak and all now dat cyah address up, but a my case mi see dem wah tek up.”
As the song continues, Vershon mentions someone who talked about him with a woman and later states that he can not believe that his ex-friend wants to be the only one who is rich.

Following the song’s release on June 10, it garnered over 8,000 views within 14 hours. Fans have also praised the song in the comments.
