Veteran Artiste Sister Charmaine Passes Away At 53

Veteran Reggae Dancehall artiste, Sister Charmaine has passed away at the age of 53, leaving behind her daughter Kadisha and her granddaughter.

According to her best friend, veteran female entertainer, Lady Anne, Charmaine went to sleep and did not wake up.

The “Granny advice” singer, was not a subject of any illness otherwise from asthma.

Lady Anne described Sister Charmaine, as an excellent stage performer who would outdo anyone in her time.

Anne even said that in the year 2019 she kept her birthday party and had, Charmaine, perform however she ended up stealing the show due to her skilful onstage presence.

The deceased entertainer is also well known for her participation in the Sting show, where the “Bun” artiste, was involved in several clashes with Lady Mackerel, Lady G, Patra and more.

Lady Anne who knew her friend very well said that Sardines and Irish Potato, was one of Sister Charmaine’s favourite thing to eat and she would always ensure that she stacked up on that type of food for when her friend came to her house.

Anne also stated that even nowadays when compared there is no female artiste like her best friend, further stating that they grouped up to get her out, stating that the music business is filled with fight and Obeah.
