With the 49-year-old donning a crown on his head throughout the visuals, the release coincides with the present debate about Dancehall’s reigning King which has also fueled the viral effect of the upload.
As it relates to the ‘Dancehall King’ debate, several names have been called such as Beenie Man, Yellowman, Masicka, Bounty Killer, and Sean Paul.
Judging by the numbers for ‘Amout’, this is another representation of Kartel’s dominance on the Dancehall scene. The video currently sits at number 2 on YouTube’s Trending for Music in Jamaica.
The TJ Records and Adidjahiem Records produced song will be a part of Kartel’s Viking (Vybz Is King) 10th Anniversary project.
