WATCH: Popcaan and Shane O’s ‘Mad Head’ Music Video Shoot, Behind-The-Scenes
Dancehall artiste Popcaan and fellow deejay Shane O was out and fully active for ‘Mad Head’ music video shoot. ‘Mad Head’ is featured on Popcaan’s EP titled ‘Best Mood’ which was released in December of 2023.
The track boasts about the flashy and womanising lifestyle of a gangster and how connected they are in the streets.
A Behind-the-scenes from the music video shoot at Freedom Skatepark in Bull Bay, St. Andrew was shared online on Saturday. In the uploaded video, the entertainers can be seen lip-syncing and grooving as they have fun among a group of men on the set.
Other clips show the deejays and their crew singing without music, as well as Popcaan showcasing his dance moves and skating ability.
Popcaan can be heard singing, “Bus it mad head, gyal dem seh we a di toughest mad head. Any weh mi pull up crazy gyal wah run in, know yuh love when bad man spread yuh leg.”
Later in the video, Freedom Skatepark is seen occupied by various people and children. The entertainers are also photographed with their associates by a woman who appears to be visiting the park.
The music video shoot, which seemingly began during the day, continues into the night, with Popcaan skating under the night sky.
Scenes from the night also feature Shane O being filmed next to a motorcycle, which was later occupied by a woman who performs raunchy dance moves in a provocative outfit.
Another female can be seen on a separate motorcycle later in the video.
