Winning Lottery Ticket was ripped but it still Won E58m

[Sharingbuttons]Even though a retailer made a mistake and ripped a lottery ticket before throwing it in the bin Mr. and Mrs. Higgins still won E58 million and have made better plans for their retirement since they got their cash.

The retired couple from Aberdeenshire matched all the numbers on the winning ticket for the Euromillions draw on July 10. The ticket was given to the retailer who thought there were no winning numbers on it, but found out it was the winning ticket when the machine had a message on it about contacting Camelot. This caused them to quickly retrieve the torn ticket from the bin.

Lesley Higgins 57 and her husband Fred Higgins 67 played the game quite often and now they are very happy winners. A security team had to visit the retailers shop and check the security footage and look at other details as the ticket was torn.

The money is now safely in their account and they have started spending it while they are making plans to buy property abroad.
