Woman Beaten by Police Officers to Sue State

Laurie Radlin the 35-year-old woman who was assaulted by police officers, has retained the services of an attorney and then announced that she will be filing a multimillion dollar lawsuit against the state, as she is unable to do many of the things that she did before because she now has a lot of pain and discomfort, that is a result of the abuse.

She think the way the police treated her was unnecessary as she didn’t see where she had done anything wrong when she overtook they vehicle they were travelling in.

However, she was knocked off her bike and landed on the scorching hot asphalt ad then grabbed by the throat by a man whom she couldn’t identify as an officer. She tried to struggle to free herself and then she was thrown against the concrete median before she passed out.

When she regained consciousness she was handcuffed before she was taken to the Ferry Police Station and charged.
The surgery to repair the discs in her back will cost $3.8 million as her entire left leg is numb and she cannot walk properly.

The mother of 3 who was working at the time when she was assaulted, says she has lost confidence in the police force. After she has attended court many times and the police have not turned up. Even though, they charged her with assault, malicious destruction of property and resisting arrest. These charges have been dropped recently and Laurie is now trying to put her life back on track.
