Woman Jumps From 5th Floor As Police Tried To Stop Her – Watch Video
Officers were unable to talk a woman down from a ledge where she stood barefoot as she held on to a window grille outside Eunos Crescent HDB flat in Singapore, Asia.
A video in circulation showed the woman, dressed in a black top and jeans, jumping from the fifth floor. At the start of the video, the woman is shown with her hands behind her, holding the grille.
Below, police officers were apparently trying to dissuade her. Shortly after, the woman was seen leaning forward.
The woman jumped from the ledge and landed in front of the three police. Police subsequently went to her aid, and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel also assisted. The 31-year-old woman was subsequently conveyed to Changi General Hospital.
According to MS News, SCDF released a statement saying, “On 20 September 2022 at 6.43 pm, SCDF received a call for assistance at Block 36 Eunos Crescent.
Upon SCDF’s arrival, a person was seen standing at a ledge of a 5th-floor unit. The person jumped prior to the arrival of the safety life air pack. SCDF conveyed the person to Changi General Hospital.”
