Woman Killed at Home After Church Visit in St. Ann

As per reports, on Sunday, a woman named Nadia Binns was shot and killed at her residence in the Helicon district of St. Ann moments after returning home from church. Binns is said to be a labourer in her 40s.

Binns entered her single-room home shortly after 2:00 pm, moments later, gunfire was heard. The police were called to the scene, and upon arrival, the lawmen found the body of Binns motionless in a pool of blood.

The victim was next transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. As per reports, Binns was previously the victim of a stabbing incident.

It’s unclear who committed the crime as investigations continue by the police.
