At the set mark, Danielle Williams in lane three was seen raising her hand and the race was delayed to accommodate her not being ready. Afterwards, the runners lined up once more and the race went off without another hitch.

The competitors went head to head as they cleared the hurdles. The results reflected that Britany Anderson came in first with a finishing time of 12.53 seconds while Megan Tapper and Danielle Williams recorded the times 12.60 and 12.66 for second and third place.
