The Women’s 20+ 100 Meter Hurdles Senior Finals was event number 42 in the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association’s (JAAA) National Championships and it took place at 6:05 pm, Sunday evening.

The contenders for the race were lined up with Rosealee Cooper, Trishauna Hemmings, Danielle Williams (national record holder), Britany Anderson, Megan Tapper (defending champion), Demeisha Roswell (fastest Jamaican this year), Krystal Morrison, and Shermaine Williams in lanes 1 through 8 respectively.

At the set mark, Danielle Williams in lane three was seen raising her hand and the race was delayed to accommodate her not being ready. Afterwards, the runners lined up once more and the race went off without another hitch.

The competitors went head to head as they cleared the hurdles. The results reflected that Britany Anderson came in first with a finishing time of 12.53 seconds while Megan Tapper and Danielle Williams recorded the times 12.60 and 12.66 for second and third place.
