The rapper turned himself in, when he was accused in 2019 and he is now on double murder charges, since he was accused of killing YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser, his close friends.

The crime was insidious because of the close nature of their relationship before the alleged murders, they all belonged to the YNW collective. In a recent interview on VladTV, the podcast host remembered an interview he did with the “Murder On My Mind” rapper where he was with the two men the lawmen accused him of killing.

The interview was weird as he spoke about the two sides of his personality and gave each side names, Melly or Melvin, and he was full of life. When he was told that tattoos of friends’ names should only be on you after they had died. He responded by explaining that he was not aware of that. The tattoos are on the rapper’s face.

However, in another interview a few months later he was different and now there is speculation. It is not known if he saw another side of the industry or he was just in a different mood.

In a video that went viral, the rapper talked about the tattoos on his face also.

The accusation against Melly is that he staged a drive-by shooting, where he shot and killed the two men whose real names are Christopher Thomas Jr, and Anthony Williams, even driving around with the bodies before reporting the matter.

In the 2019 video that is being used against the “Murder on my mind” artiste, the artiste was heard expressing that there was no regret in his mind for the things he did while symbolically showing the bloods gang sign.

The family of the deceased rappers have also decided on a new lawsuit which is supposed to allow them to benefit monetarily in the case if they are successful.

The Florida police stated earlier that they have enough evidence to prove that the young rapper actually committed the crime.

Melly has was arrested on February 13th, 2019, just 20 days after being released from jail in January of 2019.

YNW Melly has up to this day maintained his innocence however if found guilty, he might have to face the death penalty.
