Popular DJ, ZJ Sparks took to her Instagram account to share a video of a Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) partaking in a feast that featured a goat and leave it to Jamaicans to find the hilarity in any given situation. In the video, it can be seen where the Komodo dragon, a large reptile that resembles a lizard and a massive crocodile, spots a goat and climbs over a small incline in order to take it as a meal. From the position and stillness of the animal carcass, it can be assumed that the goat was already dead before the video started to record.

After reaching its target, the predator clamps its jaws around the neck of the smaller animal and proceeds to swallow it whole. It is a long, and arduous process, but the Komodo is left satisfied. After it takes the final gulp, the reptile stands still for a moment, flickers its tongue, and continues on its way.

The Komodo dragon, also known as a Komodo monitor, is a member of the family Varanidae and it is the largest lizard species to currently exist. It can grow to a maximum length of three meters (ten feet) and weigh up to approximately 70 kilograms (150 pounds) in weight.

After viewing the Komodo in its natural habitat, the comment section of the post came alive. Someone commented, “It’s the Fact dat him belly remain Flat! Some a we could never πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚,” while another person joked, “But a who really sidung and video dis….dem nuh fraid….dem ave security…..dem ave a license gun πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.”
