15-Year-Old Papine High School Student Robbed And Killed

A 10-grade student of Papine High School was shot and killed by a robber on March 23, in Liguanea, St. Andrew.
The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Kenuth Williams who resided in a neighbouring community known as Cashew Ridge in Jack’s Hill, St. Andrew.
It is reported that Williams was on his way to school at approximately 11:20 a.m. when he was approached by a gunman who attempted to rob him of his cell phone.
Williams reportedly resisted the attacker and there was a tussle between the two. He was then shot and rushed to the University of the West Indies Hospital (UHWI) for treatment, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The unknown assailant reportedly fled the scene in the Sandy Gully direction in Papine, St. Andrew.
Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, Head of the St Andrew Central Police Division has since reported that the suspect in the murder of Kenuth Williams is in the custody of law enforcement officers.
