Just days after sacking Steven Gerrard, Aston Villa F.C. displayed a spectacular performance of the season with a 4-0 win against Brentford at Villa Park on Sunday.
Within the second minute, Jamaican forwarder, Leon Bailey, opened the scoresheet, followed by Danny Ings in the 6th minute, making it the first time for the team to score twice in such a short a period in over 1000 matches.
Coming in again with another goal in the 14th minute was Ings, who netted his brace from the penalty spot, going into half time in a delightful 3-0 lead.
Former Brentford forward, Ollie Watkins, then closed out the score line, getting on the end of Bailey’s whipped cross and scoring past David Raya at the third attempt after the first two shots were blocked.
