The former Queen of Dancehall, Marion Hall more commonly known as Lady Saw took to social media to send out a message to her fans and the general public. The message is a reaction to her critics who have been criticising her means of obtaining funds to purchase and hand out thousands of bibles at this year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest.

Following her unexpected announcement weeks ago that she would be returning to Reggae Sumfest in 2023 after closing the event in 2015 ahead of her baptism, Minister Marion Hall shared her plans to give away 2000–3000 Bibles at the show.

Unhappy with the critics, late Tuesday night she wrote on Instagram, “Blessings overflow to everyone. Please be advised that I won’t be preaching, or doing prayers and fasting online anymore, because social media has become a place, where I no longer want to bring the word of God.”

She continued, “Thanks to all of you who contributed to the Bible’s. I am being called all sort of name for asking for contributions to buy them, so don’t worry about the purchase of them. God will provide. He always do. I will still post, when I can, but I’m done preaching and fasting online. Peace out.”

Last week, Hall spoke out about getting banned by a church in the United States of America (USA), the reason for her ban, according to Minister Hall was because of how she dresses at times, revealing areas of her body.

The Dancehall-turned-gospel singer, earlier stated that God’s way of doing things may seem different to onlookers, but that her God was working through her to deliver a message and quoted scriptures to support her argument about dressing in a sheer top which the church had a problem with.
