Kartel and Co-Accused Case Ruling to be Issued on Wednesday

The latest update in the case involving Vybz Kartel and his three co-accused, a month after their lawyers and the prosecutors presented their arguments in Jamaica’s Court of Appeal, is that the decision following recent court proceedings is scheduled to be made this coming Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
The ongoing murder case of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams which started back in 2011 could be close to an end, and the popular Dancehall entertainer and the other accused parties, Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Andre St. John, and Kahira Jones could be acquitted.
Or they might be going back to another trial after the Privy Council invalidated their previous convictions and left the matter of whether the case will be retried in court or thrown out completely to the Court of Appeal.
According to Nationwide News, the verdict will be issued at 2 PM on Wednesday by Justice Marva McDonald Bishop, the Newly installed President of the Court of Appeal.
