Leon Bailey Celebrates 27th Birthday

Jamaica’s poster-boy for football Leon Bailey took to social media on Sunday to share moments from his 27th birthday celebration. The Aston Villa winger turned 27 on August 9, however, Villa played against Dortmund on the 10th hence the celebration was seemingly pushed back.
Bailey who is also known s Chippy shared six images from the occasion with a short caption that says, “Big 27!”. Notably, Skillibeng, Shaneil Muir, Rygin King and others reacted via the comment section, wishing him a happy birthday.

When Will Bailey Play for Jamaica again?
At the moment, Reggae Boyz supporters are divided about having Bailey return to the national team on the heels of his controversial interview.
Nevertheless, Jamaica’s National football team’s new head coach Steve McClaren detailed in his first press conference that he will be contacting Bailey with the hopes that the issues can be resolved.
After announcing that he would be taking a break from he Reggae Boyz, months ago, following his suspension, Bailey is yet to announce when he will return to the team.
While highlighting his reasons for the break from the National team to Jaii Frais on LET’S BE HONEST podcast in March 2024, he talked about bad team selection, accommodation, transportation, and poor facilities as some of the reasons for his break.
