Adidas Teams Up with Jamaica Football Federation for New Throwback Collection

On Thursday, the Jamaican Football Federation (JFF) and Adidas announced the launch of the ‘JFF LFSTLR collection’ which pays homage to Jamaica’s 1998 team that played in the World Cup in France.
The jerseys are presented in black with yellow and green accents. The material used and designed also have a retro look, never the less, still eye-catching.
Adidas recently expanded its ‘LFSTLR’ collection with new designs for Bayern Munich and Manchester United, and now they’re bringing this blend of football performance and streetwear culture to the global stage with a special collection for Jamaica.
On the other hand, the boots are mainly yellow coloured with green and black accents.
Timed to coincide with the Notting Hill Carnival—a celebration of the Jamaican community’s rich cultural heritage in London—this new line highlights Jamaica’s vibrant spirit.
The collection includes a polo-collared design, inspired by the matchday jerseys worn by Jamaica’s historic FIFA World Cup 1998 squad. Unlike the Bayern and Manchester United collections, this release features a special edition of the Copa Mundial, adorned in the bold colors of the Caribbean nation: a yellow upper with green and black stripes.
The Instagram post made on Thursday had the following caption, “reggae moves 🇯🇲 🙂↕️ introducing the new JFF LFSTLR collection. available now.”
