A’mari Preparing Her Body to Look “Like A Dolly Baby”, Talks Seeing Gully Bop in a Vision, Weight Loss Journey and Queenie – Watch Interview

After missing her ex Gully Bop’s funeral, Amari is now in Jamaica and discusses their relationship, her weight loss journey to now having a slim body, and linking up with Queenie during an interview.

After having weight loss surgery, A’mari’s physical appearance drastically changed from her previous look while dating Gully Bop several years ago. While the Neko singer flaunted her new body online last year, her dramatic transformation ignited concern from many viewers.

But as she did then, A’mari maintained that she is healthy in her interview. Speaking with the Jamaica Star, A’mari disclosed that she is currently 150 pounds.

In addition to highlighting that it was important not to regain all the weight that she had lost, A’mari also emphasised the importance of adapting to a new lifestyle. She said that it took her three years to lose weight and that it was easy to handle the criticism about her new look.

A’mari added that she is currently preparing her body for the “real A’mari.” A transformation, the Dutty Bungle singer said, will see her take on an even more slender appearance to imitate that of a “dolly baby.” Further speaking about her unique appearance, A’mari disclosed that she started getting her tattoos to cover the marks left after getting abused.

Highlighting that each tattoo represents something, A’mari shared the tattoo that she has of Gully Bop’s middle name, Lee. While reflecting on Gully Bop’s passing, A’mari expressed that his death felt like losing a part of her.

According to A’mari, she recently had a vision of Gully Bop, who appeared to her as his younger self, and the pair danced. The popular social media personality went on to speak about recently linking up with Queenie and the genuine love she has for her.
