Antonio, Bailey and Morrison Returns to Reggae Boyz Squad Ahead of Upcoming Games

Despite earlier doubts over the inclusion of UK based players Michail Antonio, Leon Bailey and Ravel Morrison into the Reggae Boyz Squad, the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has announced that all three players will be on the island soon. The Boyz’s next match of FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be against El Salvador which is set for November 12th.
All three players had disappointing starts to the FIFA World Cup qualifiers campaign and were notable, not present in the squad in the last international break.
After playing El Salvador in El Salvadorians on Friday, November 12 the Boyz with return home where they will play against the USA on November 16 at the National Stadium in Kingston
Currently, Jamaica is sitting at 6th position in the group with 5 points after winning one match and drawing two so far in the campaign, the group consists of 8 teams. The Reggae Boyz needs favourable results to secure the 3rd spot for automatic qualification or the 4th spot where they will have a play-off against a foreign team whereby the winner will qualify for the World Cup.
The Boyz won their last match vs Honduras 2-0. Jamaica Men’s National Football team now ranks 59th in the world with their best position being 27th back in 1998.
