In his endeavour to spread the joys and beauty of Easter, Dancehall veteran Beenie Man distributed the traditional Jamaican Easter snack to many people. With a helpful team, the singer was able to hand out bun and cheese under the Beenie Man Foundation over the Easter holiday to elders, fathers, and mothers.

Although he was not visible in the videos he posted to social media, his team was seen working hard. While it is unclear how many were distributed, a video posted five days ago gave fans a glimpse of the food items, and a friendly note was left urging everyone to “extend grace and kindness” to their “friends, families, associates, supporters, and strangers.”

He returned to the platform yesterday to share the precious moments of giving back online with his fans, who expressed their admiration. The videos, shared in two parts on his Instagram page with his Mankind track as the background audio, showed many people gratefully accepting the snacks.

The first video was accompanied by the words, “Beenie Man foundation has always sought to celebrate the core of our Jamaican culture ” once there’s Easter yuh affi have yuh bun and cheese.” The second clip continued with the caption, “Beenie Man Foundation sharing the blessings with the Elders.”

In the comments, one person commended him for his act of charity by saying, “Great work king 👏🏽Salute to you and your team MD ENTERTAINMENT BEENIE MAN FOUNDATION 👊🏾.” Another IG user wrote, “Moses may god continue to guide & protect you.”
