In a recent post on Shawn Storm’s Instagram verified page, the dancehall artiste is seen venting his anger and displeasure with dancehall legend Buju Banton. Shawn Storm posted a video of Vybz Kartel in the early years of his blossomed musical career.
Shawn Storm, real name Shawn Campbell, was introduced to the music industry by Vybz Kartel in 2007 and had his debut hit the following year, according to hapilos.com. He has released an array of songs, which helped him gain traction in the music business, but his biggest single was not released until 2010 and was entitled “My Life.” This put him on the international map after the song went to number 1 in numerous countries around the world.
Based on reports, Shawn Storm is currently serving a life sentence with his co-accused Gaza member Vybz Kartel for murder. Shawn Storm will be eligible for parole after serving 22 and a half years of his sentence.
While taking I’m at Buju Banton, Shawn Storm posted a video. The video shows Vybz Kartel performing, then having the microphone snatched away from him by Buju Banton. Vybz Kartel is evidently dissatisfied with this act and stands glaring at the artiste, who proceeds to perform for the riled-up crowd.
Shawn Storm expressed in the caption that he would have defended Vybz Kartel if he was there. “Big cokehead buju a tru mi just see this,” he said as he fired shots at Banton. He then expressed that he could not have admiration for Banton after seeing how he disrespected his mogul.
