Big Fire At Ray Ray Market In Downtown, Kingston

Members from the Jamaica Fire Brigade carried out cooling operations late last night at the Ray Ray Market in Downtown, Kingston after reportedly being set ablaze at approximately 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Acting Public Relations Officer, Kerry-Gayle Forbes of the Jamaica Fire Brigade reported that four units were dispatched to the location to control the flames.
Similarly, two years ago the Ray Ray Market was set ablaze where one hundred and twenty stalls and four containers were destroyed. Also, in 2017, 2018, and 2019 there was a fire at the market.
To date, it has not been determined how the fire was started.
