Following his arrest and plea for the public’s help to gain his freedom, American rapper Boosie has been released from jail and appeared jubilant in his first video speaking with fans.
Boosie was arrested on June 14 after he went to court about a traffic stop in May, during which officers allegedly found him with a firearm, that case was dismissed, however, according to TMZ Boosie got re-arrested because the FBI caught him on video footage brandishing a pistol on his waist.
Boosie was granted pre-trial release on Tuesday for the new offence, but the rapper later called for a public protest after the prosecution reportedly refused to let him go.
However, the Louisiana artiste has regained his freedom and appeared ecstatic as he made his exit from the facility late Friday. During an Instagram live stream, Boosie declared that he was back, expressing that he had been praying so hard that his knees were now bruised. The Swerve performer thanked his supporters and requested three tickets for the BET Awards from BET, noting that it was a must that he bring his attorneys.

Boosie announced that he had dropped his album and went on to address negative comments that had been made about him online. Boosie explained that he was a genuine person, and the people who were speaking negatively about his life and character did not know the real him.
