Buju Banton Shares Emancipation Message In Fashion And Style

Grammy-winning artiste Buju Banton celebrated Emancipation Day by sharing an uplifting message coined by Jamaica’s first national hero Marcus Garvey. The reggae star also showed off his fashion taste by posing for a few photos that he went on to share online.

Buju Banton was decked out in a multicoloured, dominated mainly by blue, button shirt with a clad pattern and a white mesh shirt within the button shirt paired with matching pants. The Hills and Valley singer wore blue shoes to compliment his all-blue outfit.

The entertainer shared the three photos, which captured his bright smile via Instagram with the caption, “None but ourselves can free our minds! Happy #EmancipationDay JM.” Fans of the Reggae star shared their response to his high fashion style as well as his Emancipation message.

“Mhm…none but ourselfs..1 Jamaica remember..1day at a time @bujubanton,” therlpcollection wrote.

Another fan of the entertainer also wrote,” Come here, Mark let me get in that suit with you!”

Buju Banton is set to release his 13th studio album, entitled Born For Greatness, on September 8 of this year after making the announcement in early July as well as previewing the cover art for the album.

This album cover art features him wearing a majestic chain link crown atop his head, which appears to embody the album’s theme of transformation and royal magnificence as he appears to be wearing opulent gold jewellery.
