Busy Signal Makes Song For Criminals on ‘Yeng Yeng’ Bikes

Busy Signal, praised for his lyrical prowess has struck gold again with the new single ‘Yeng Yeng’. The single doesn’t hold back in talking about his dislike for criminals who ride Yeng Yeng bikes. The bikes are often used as getaway vehicles after robberies and are seen as a nuisance to many Jamaicans. There has been a constant debate about whether these bikes should be banned, Busy Signal puts everything in perspective in his new song.

Produced by powerhouse Troyton Music, the chorus sings:

“Mi nuh trust nothing pon Yeng Yeng,

worst the one dem wey keep up problem dwag;

too much criminal inna di place

so, mi affi just in case,

affi protect mi family, mi tings dem pon mi base.

Mi nuh trust di bike bwoy dem.

Try run guh tell di trouble mekka dem dwag,

so, mi nuh fear right when dem pull up a di stop light,

yow, mi nuh trust nothing pon bike”.

But the song also strikes a balance as he mentions the use of Toyota Probox and Nissan AD Wagon’s as well and speaks to the issues being with the criminals and not the vehicles. The song is not just ‘topical’ but very ‘catchy’ and is easily a fan favourite.

Prior to this release, the Platinum-selling artiste released ‘Case’ and ‘Too Trickify’ both distributed by Hapilos. All noted singles received support on mainstream media locally and internationally; this along with his businesslike approach to the industry along with his impeccable writing skills solidifies again why Busy Signal is one of the Caribbean’s top dancehall/reggae artistes.

‘Yeng Yeng’ is out now and is distributed by Hapilos.
