After making little to no public appearance in recent times locally, Reggae artiste Chronixx, 31, was center of attention during a training session of the Jamaica Men’s National Team that took place at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Images from the occasion were shared online on Tuesday by the JFF. The nine-image slide was accompanied with the caption, “Look who stopped by our training today! đđđ˝ @chronixxmusic #JamaicaLandWeLove #ReggaeBoyz2026.”
The photos show the Spanish Town native whose birth name is Jamar Rolando McNaughton interacting one-on-one with several players and the head coach Heimir HallgrĂmsson.

The Reggae Boyz are set to open their World Cup Qualifying campaign on Thursday against the Dominican Republic at the National Stadium in Kingston. Among the players absent from the Boyzâ squad for their upcoming matches is Leon Bailey.
Coach Heimir HallgrĂmsson says in a recent interview that the Aston Villa player’s absence will limit their chances because he’s the “best Jamaican player”.

These pictures come as a surprise to many who have not seen the artiste in pictures or videos locally in over a year. Notably, Chronixx has taken a step back from releasing new music over the past few years. In February, he called out streaming platform Spotify for allowing unauthorised uploads of music to his account.
Chronixx expressed sarcastically in a post on his Instagram Stories that they can continue making the uploads as he will not be releasing new music soon. âI advise more people to go put songs up on my Spotify [ ⌠] Keep the releases busy. I donât have any releases scheduled for the near future,â Chronixx wrote.
The Smile Jamaica singer has also vastly reduced his online presence, with his last Instagram page post made in January.

As for his music releases on YouTube, the artisteâs last upload was a music video in February for his song Tenement Yard (News Carryinâ Dread) featuring Inner Circle, notably the video was initially released years ago, hence itâs not a new release.
