Conni Entertainment and Shaqstar Set to Release Highly Anticipated Track “Shooting Star”

Fast Rising 6 artiste, Shaqstar, who has popular releases such as Chop E line, Duppy Dollaz, Fully 6 and Hennessy Ina Me Vein is set to release his highly anticipated track, “Shooting Star” on the OvaEast Riddim curated by newly formed St Thomas based label Conni Entertainment.
According to Shaqstar, who is also from the 1 law camp, Shooting star speaks of the growth throughout his career as well as his hard work and diligence. “It’s just greatness, we expect greatness from this track, it’s the right message for the audience and I hope they will take on to it” he claimed.
“Shaqstar is one of the few Jamaican recording artistes who is the voice for most of the ghetto/rural part of Jamaica. Shooting Star outlines where a particular friend went to jail and needed a change of life however it is a part of the journey, circumstances will come in your life so it is best to make moves, seek opportunity and search for that shooting star,” stated the Seaforth, St. Thomas Artiste.
“Shooting stars, you only see them in the nighttime,” he also stated. The Chorus will rise and wise up ghetto youths to strengthen their inner self as it is a motivation for all the youths across the world who has faced circumstances and jailhouse. “It is a clear message that hard work will reap rewards with patience and the right time,” explained Shaqstar’s brother Jelly RPG who has just started his musical career.
Shaqstar is now on the verge of crossing over mainstream and has been receiving the love and support from dancehall fans as multiple of his tracks have hit 1 million streams on youtube and has debuted on the Jamaican youtube trending chart.
