Top Cop Killed in St. Elizabeth Crash

Jamaica News, Reports are that 37-year-old Omar Morris was driving his Honda Accord car along the Shaws main road in St. Elizabeth when he decided to overtake a Toyota Hiace bus.

Morris while overtaking the bus collided with the bus which sent both vehicles out of control, Morris’s car went off the road and into a river bed, both drivers were taken to hospital where the Police officer was pronounced dead while the Toyota Hiace bus driver has been admitted.

The dead cop is said to be a Deputy Superintendent from a St. Catherine address.

The deadly accident took place some time after 8pm on July 29th.

The Police are investigating the matter.
