Upcoming dancehall artiste YK Kastro has seemingly been having some difficulties with Jamaican law enforcement, with the artiste expressing his frustration following an incident that led to his apparent apprehension.
Based in St. James, the Clarendon native is best known for songs such as Trick and Affi Get Rich.
YK Kastro, born Keneil Housen, reportedly shared the irritation he has for the police in his Instagram Stories, expressing that he is tired after years of the authorities tormenting him. A screenshot taken from his Stories has been circulating online, along with a video of his verbal altercation with an officer.
In the video, a clearly angry YK Kastro can be heard questioning an officer if he had intended to shoot at him if he had not opened his car. Questioning the officer again, the Zoom deejay said that the officer had hit him and went on to threaten the unseen man.
“Yuh feel yuh bad true yuh tump me, a dat? A wah yuh get pay beat up when yuh gah primary and high school? Mi will tump yuh ina yuh head wasteman,” YK Kastro stated.
After YK Kastro continued to berate the officer, telling him multiple times “guh s**k Yuh Mada,” the video cut to the artiste seemingly at the back of a police vehicle. According to YK Kastro, the officers were transporting him to Mount Salem Police Station.
