Drake’s “Falling Back” Music Video An Ode to Polygamy!
Upon the release of Drake’s new album “HONESTLY, NEVERMIND”, the lead single entitled “Falling Back” which was released with a music video depicts Drake getting married to a whopping 23 brides, and features Tristan Thompson as Drake’s best man.
One has to wonder at both the timing and placement of characters in the music video for the said single.
It is no secret to many that Tristan has been the lead role in multiple cheating scandals which has left Khloe Kardashian mortified. His latest escapade was with fitness model Maralee Nichols who now has a five months old son, Theo Thompson, for Tristan.
In the video, Tristan says to the groom that “you only get married once”, which is ironic, to say the least as he is getting married to twenty-three women all at once. And though the male counterparts are having a merry time, it does not seem like Kim or Khloe get the joke.
After the revelation that Tristan now fathers a child with another woman, Khloe’s shocked reaction is captured on an episode of “Keeping up With the Kardashians” when her sister Kim broke the news. The pair had been trying to work on their relationship despite Tristan’s rumoured scandals in the past.
After watching the eye-catching music video, one fan commented, “Imagine Drake trying to remember all his Brides birthdays,” while another said, “As someone who recently started pursuing a career in wedding photography, I think this video hit me differently.
