Elderly Woman found with throat Slashed in St. James
News coming out of the western region of the island is that a popular vendor from St. James was found dead by a relative after going missing for days.
The police reports that the body of the 64-year-old woman called “Veeta” was found decomposing with her throat slashed and her underwear pulled down to her ankles.
Speculations are that the hard working vendor who sells in the market was robbed.
According to a resident from the area, the vendor was good a person who don’t trouble people and the wicked act was carried out by “the bwoy dem”.
The crime took place in the Salters Hill community in the parish.
The police are currently investigating the matter and are said to be onto strong leads.
