Footage Shows Man Being Killed by Shark in Egypt – Watch Video
A video of a shark attack is making rounds, showing how a male swimmer was killed in the Red Sea of Egypt. The brutal attack unfolded in front of several onlookers in the resort city of Hurghada. One of the onlookers captured the incident, and the video surfaced on Thursday.
According to a report, the graphic video shows the shark striking the swimmer, who was treading water. The shark repeatedly clamps down its jaws on the man, biting him multiple times as he screams.
At one point, the shark, believed to be a tiger shark according to a statement from Egypt’s Ministry of Environment, drags the man’s upper body below the water, resulting in his feet being above the surface.
The footage, which is reported to be quite gruesome in a TMZ report, continued to show the moment when the shark pounced on the man’s upper torso in one final blow before submerging with him.
The victim succumbed to his wounds, and most of the beach has since been closed until at least Sunday.
