Intruder Dies After Home Invasion In St. Ann

Residents of Huntley, a community near Browns Town St. Ann is now in shock following the death of an intruder last night, in the otherwise quiet community.

According to reports the victim of the break-in, an 83-year-old returning resident, was at home when the intruder entered her home with a machete, claiming that he owned the property and demanding that she and her relatives vacate the premises.

An alarm was raised by the woman when a male relative came to her rescue and engaged the intruder in a fight, during which a knife was used to stab the intruder to death.

The male relative, identified only as ‘Martin’ was also injured during the fight.

The Observer Online has since published that the deceased man has been fingered in a number of home invasions in the past.
