Social media has been buzzing with a controversial video capturing a discussion on Youtube Live between Andre Stephens and his guest, Isat Buchanan.
The video revolves around a topic related to Paula Llewellyn and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). However, it took an unexpected turn when Buchanan referenced lyrics from Vybz Kartel’s song, “Menace to Society,” officially titled “The Menace,” sparking a wave of reactions and criticism.
“The Menace” is the eleventh track on Vybz Kartel’s “Born Fi Dis” album, released in August 2021.

In the video, Isat Buchanan described the track as a “poetic rendition with Shakespearean marvel.” He quoted a line from the second verse containing explicit language targeting “Paula”. The lyrics, “Speaking of cocky, yo Paula, go s**k a d***,” were jarring and unexpected.

Stephens, visibly taken aback, asked Buchanan to repeat as he sarcastically claimed that he was unaware of Vybz Kartel’s songs. Buchanan obliged, asserting that Vybz Kartel is saying the same thing “right now.”
He quickly clarified that he was merely repeating the artiste’s words and should not be responsible for his content. He is only the messenger.
