‘Jah Cure did not Listen, Suh him feel’ Says Queen Ifrica

As per the latest reports, 45-year-old Jamaican Reggae singer Jah Cure will next appear in court on November 12 as he seeks to cut down his 6-year prison sentence for attempted manslaughter in the Netherlands.

Cure recently appeared in court on August 21, 2024, the singer is expected to know his fate within the next 90 days. The Hanover native was put in prison for the alleged stabbing of event promoter, Nicardo ‘Papa’ Blake on October 1, 2021 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Jah Cure was arrested a day after the alleged attack and had told the police that Blake withdrew a knife from his right pocket, however, this claim was quickly shut down by prosecutors as they indicated that Blake was left-handed.

In her most recent live chat, Queen Ifrica talked about the Jah Cure situation, according to the outspoken Reggae singer, she tried to talk to Jah Cure whose birth name is Siccature Alcock about changing his life after his last prison release.

“Jah Cure affi guh hurry up come back gaah river, gaah sea, gaah spring… When him did come from prison, mi sidung wid him and mi seh Cure surrender to God now, surrender to the almighty accept all a the foolishness weh yuh gwaan wid, know seh God a yo center.”

She continues, “If yuh nuh listen to the God inna wi, we ago fail in front the people, a that ago happen.” Africa also expressed that she hopes that Jah Cure is looking into himself throughout the years-long prison sentence that he got.

Queen Ifrica made the speech as she called out several Jamaicans who she believes can help contribute to the “freedom” of Jamaicans. The ‘Bellow the Waist‘ singer expressed that things would be better for Jamaicans if the Stakeholders unite.

Back in 2023, Jah Cure apologized to his fans, saying, “My message to my fans is I apologize for this situation I get myself caught up in. I would like to give this album to you as a special gift from me to you. Until we see each other soon, I will have some interesting songs to share with you.”
