Jamaica Boyz Defeated by Jordan 2-1; Last Win Was in June 2022

The Reggae Boyz will see one full year without a win after losing out to Jordan 2-1 in their latest Friendly International at the Wiener Neustadt Arena located in Wiener Neustadt, Austria on Monday.

Jamaica’s last win was against Suriname on June 21, 2022. Despite Kicking off 2023 with a new coach Heimir Hallgrimsson, the Boyz don’t seem to be improving much.

The reggae Boyz’ most recent match, days ago, was also a 2-1 loss to Qatar and Coach Hallgrimsson assured everyone a different approach to the match against Jordan. “We need to start to win,” he outlined, however, the Boyz are still unable to win based on Monday’s result.

Jamaica’s next match will be in a few days’ time, on Saturday, June 24 vs the United States in their Gold Cup opener. The Reggae Boyz will tackle Trinidad and Tobago days later on June 28.

Jamaica’s Men National Football Team is currently ranked 63rd in the world according to Fifa. The Boyz’ best position was at 27 back in 1998.
