The Reggae Boyz tackled Costa Rico moments ago at the Estadio Nacional in Costa Rica in what was the third match of their World Cup 2022 Qatar campaign. The match ended 1-1 after Costa Rica managed to score first however the Boyz struck in the 47th minute to level up the game.
Jamaica started off the match shaky however found their feet about midway through the first half, Jamaica played the better ball game from there on however was unable to find the back of the net.
Notably, Michail Antonio did not play any minute after a disappointing first game for the national team against Panama.
Many Jamaicans are still optimistic because Leon Bailey is out injured and is expected to return soon with Antonio in the team to make a difference at any point.
