Jamaica Boyz vs Canada’s Postponed Match

After being unable to play at 7 PM on Friday night due to heavy rainfall, Jamaica vs Canada in the Concacaf Nations League will kick off at 10:30 AM, November 18 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

On Friday night, several videos were shared online showing the field partially covered in water while the track around the field was covered in water.

After much speculation as to whether or not the match will be played over two legs due to the inclement weather affecting the island, the Jamaica Football Federation took to social media early Saturday morning to inform the public that the postponed match will go on in a few hours’ time.

A picture was also shared, showing a seemingly dried field, and improved weather conditions, including sunlight on the field.

“Good Morning Jamaica! 🇯🇲 Kick off is in 3 hours from now. We look forward to seeing you cheer on our Boyz. All patrons who bought tickets will be allowed to enter the Grandstand only. Those with scanned tickets will be given appropriate credit to enter.⚽️🇯🇲 Come out and let’s support the Boyz and help us Qualify for Copa America 2024 ⚽️”
