Jamaica Reggae Boyz Brushed Guyana Aside 4-0

The Reggae Boyz today played the second match of the 2019-2020 CONCACAF Nation’s League and Alvas Powell, Jamaica’s right back opened the scoring in the first half after running through onto goal from the right hand side early in the match, he managed to add a second in the 25th minute. This was Powell’s first time scoring for Jamaica.

Striker Dever Orgill scored Jamaica’s 3rd goal in the 43rd minute after a good hold up play by fellow striker Nicholson. Orgill was again on target in the 54th minute to make Jamaica 4 goals up.

The Reggae boyz managed to get the ball into the back of the net in the 90th minute but was ruled off-side. The commentators state that the night was confortable for Jamaica, The Reggae Boyz had 64% of the ball, fired 8 shots at goal but comitted more fouls, a total of 11 to Guyana’s 8.

After this win Jamaica tops Group C with 6 points and are on path to Group A. The CONCACAF Nation’s League has 41 different countries/teams from the Concacaf region in the same competition for the first time.
