Jamaica’s Expected Starting 11 vs. Guatemala in Gold Cup Quarterfinal

Jamaica’s Men National football team aka the Reggae Boyz will go up against Central American team Guatemala today Sunday, July 9 at 4 p.m. in the Quarterfinals of the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The expected starting eleven for Jamaica today is Andre Blake(c), Amari’i Bell, Di’Shon Bernard, Damion Lowe, Dexter Lembikisa, Kevon Lambert, Joel Latibeaudiere, Bobby Reid, Leon Bailey, Demarai Gray and Michail Antonio.
Leading up to the match vs Guatemala, Jamaica’s head Coach Heimir Hallgrimsson outlined that the Boyz are “Improving as a team” which is very important. Hallgrimsson also talked about the strengths and weaknesses of Guatemala’s team.
Player Kevon Lambert who has impressed in the tournament so far was in the pre-match press conference as well and gave his opinion on the Reggae Boyz’ prospects in the tournament. Watch the pre-match interviews below.
The 2023 Gold Cup is currently being played in several states across North America.
Here’s Jamaica’s full squad of players, starting with captain Andre Blake, Amari’i Bell, Adrian Mariappa, Di’Shon Bernard, Javain Brown, Jonathan Russell, Kevon Lambert, Kaheem Parris, Daniel Johnson, and Cory Burke.
Also featured in the Boyz Gold Cup squad are Jamali Waite, Coniah Boyce-Clarke, Ethan Pinnock, Dexter Lembikisa, Damion Lowe, Kemar Lawrence, Joel Latibeaudiere and Bobby Reid, Michail Antonio, Shamar Nicholson, Leon Bailey, Demarai Gray, and Dujuan Richards.
