Kabaka Pyramid Shows Off His “Grammy Dive” – Watch Video

Reggae icon Kabaka Pyramid dives in style and lets everyone know that his technique is dubbed the Grammy Dive. The Well Done singer, who took home the 2023 Grammy Award for “Best Reggae Album,” shared a video of his “#RiverFlex” with fans online.

The video shows Kabaka and his crew having a delightful time at the river. It begins with the Rastafarian artiste standing on a small cliff, showing fans how he executes a dive.

“Show unuh how fi dive yah now, Grammy Dive. Watch dis,” Kabaka says before running and jumping off the cliff, then plunging into the water below. 

The video concludes after he surfaces, as his crew grades his dive to be “much better.” He posted the video to Instagram with the words, “Grammy Dive 🤣🤣🤣🤣 #Clean #RiverFlex #BebbleRockers #Rastafari.”

While reacting to the clip with over 9,019 likes since it was posted hours ago, fans left comments such as, “Dive Deh Bad – Wha u say Olympics Next @kabakapyramid 🏆,” A for effort 🤣,” and “World diver 😂.”

The Kalling, released in September 2022, peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. The album achieved 4,100 sales in the US by the end of 2022, which includes 4.7 million audio and video streams.

On his first nomination, Kabaka won the Grammy Award at the 2023 Grammy Academy Awards on February 5 for his album, The Kalling. The other contenders were Koffee, Shaggy, Sean Paul, and Protoje.
