Kartel Health Update: ‘Mr. Palmer is developing heart failure which may lead to a heart attack’ Per Medical Report

Ahead of the pre-trial hearing which is scheduled to begin on June 10, Vybz Kartel‘s son and his lead lawyer Isat Buchanan spoke to FOX-5 News in the hope of informing everyone about the deejay’s deteriorating health situation.

“It’s not looking great.. the condition is definitely getting worse,” says Vybz Kartel‘s first son Likkle Vybz. Buchanan followed up in the interview by stating that despite Kartel getting a flushable toilet, the environment he’s living in is still not conducive to his health.

As per a medal report dated June 3, 2024, Kartel’s heart pumping function has declined significantly and is at “37% of normal”. The report also details that, “Mr. Palmer is developing heart failure which may lead to a heart attack.”

The report recommends that Kartel gets “specialized therapy or surgery… to save his heart and his life.” Buchanan followed up on that statement stating, “His medical team is very concerned and so are we.”

The report also details that Likkle Addi plans to attend court on Monday.

On Thursday, a X(formerly Twitter) account believed to be owned by Vybz Kartel tweeted, “From 2011 till now, if you ever know how much a dem weh did a fight me dead n gone lef me. Vybz Kartel‘s case will next appear in the Jamaica Court of Appeal on Monday to decide whether the four men accused should be released or retried for Clive Williams’ killing.

According to the prosecution, Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams was murdered at a property in Havendale St. Andrew on August 16, 2011. Vybz Kartel who is currently 48 years old and the other previously convicted men have been behind bars for over 13 years.
