Mavado Shares Sad Videos After Wishing His Mother ‘Happy Birthday’
Dancehall heavy hitter Mavado, birth name David Constantine Brooks, seems to think that he has somehow failed his mother, Elizabeth ‘Ms. Pinny’ Gordon, based on a few social media posts he made on Wednesday, July 24.
Three days prior, Mavado posted a happy birthday message to Ms. Pinny along with a photograph of his mother sitting in front of a birthday cake with the note, “Happy birthday mommy from David I love you.”
The Instagram message read, “Happy birthday mama Jah know 🙏🏾❤️.
Ms. Pinny suddenly passed away three years ago in early 2021 after Dantay Brooks, Mavado’s Son, had been convicted on murder charges.
Two videos speaking about mothers were posted to the Gully Gad’s Insta Stories with the person in video one doing an interview where he was asked, “You feel you’ve failed your mom,” to which the reply was “100%.”
Continuing he stated, “And the reason why I say I failed her is because I didn’t spend enough time with her…”
The second video was about wishing happy Mother’s Day and a man singing a song dedicated to his mother.
The entertainer also regularly posts about his deceased mother on social media.
