This year Jamaicans are saying their expectations are high. Miqueal spent most of her life in school, she is very organized and loves to cook, she recently took up learning to sew as a hobby, as a model she has graced the pages of Elle Magazine. She was born in Mona, Kingston and went to schools and university in Jamaica.

Williams is a Pulse and select model search winner, and travelled internationally to London, Paris, New York and other places in her modeling career. She has worked with huge brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Amari, Valentino and others in London, Spain, New York and Paris.

The Jamaican queen has a rounded look at life and has mental health as the reason. In 2020 she graduated from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, with a BSc Degree in Management Studies and a minor in Psychology, which she completed with high honors.

She is very eloquent and she has a degree in marketing with a major in psychology also.

Her costume showcased the Lignum Vitae, the countries national flower, the blossoms were big and beautiful. She wrote “My national costume this year was inspired by the Lignum vitae, the national flower of Jamaica. A flower of one of the most useful trees in the world, the Lignum vitae has been an instrumental part of Jamaican culture for its beauty and utility. My favorite thing about Lignum vitae blossoms are the yellow butterflies that usually flutter around them in spring.  It was an honor to share a part of my Jamaican culture on the @missuniversestage”.

Miqueal-Symone continued by stating that “Flowers are a very special symbol to me as they represent what it means if we trust the process, nurture ourselves and come in to our own – we will bloom đź’śđź’śCostume designed in collaboration with Dermoth Williams couture and Ernesto Castro”.
